MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball Defeats Inter-Lakes In Pitcher's Duel
Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound Monday, but MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseballdefeated Inter-Lakes 2-1. Tyler Warner allowed just three hits to Inter-Lakes.
MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball grabbed an early lead. MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball scored on a double by Warner and a single by Tyler Bill in the first inning.
Warner was credited with the victory for MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball. He went seven innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out 12.

MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball Loses Lead Early In Defeat
MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 14-3 loss to Gilford on Wednesday. Gilford scored on a double by Adrian Siravo, a double by Isaac Wallace, a single by Alex Mutherbaugh, a single by Tyler McKinney, a fielder's choice by Sebastian Brodeur, and a triple by Jack McLean in the first inning.
The MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Gilford, giving up 14 runs.
Gilford got things moving in the first inning, when Siravo doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Mutherbaugh led the Gilford to victory on the pitcher's mound. He allowed three hits and two runs over four innings, striking out five. TJ Carmilia threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Brennan Murphy took the loss for MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball. He surrendered 12 runs on eight hits over two and a third innings.

MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball Loses Lead Early In Defeat
MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 10-2 loss to Stevens on Monday. Stevens scored on a double by T Bonneau in the first inning and a single by B Bean in the first inning.
The MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Stevens, giving up ten runs.
In the bottom of the first inning, Stevens tied things up at two. Bean drove in one when he singled.
Stevens pulled away for good with one run in the second inning.

MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball snatched the lead late in the game in an 8-5 victory over Newfound Regional on Tuesday. The game was tied at five with MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball batting in the bottom of the fifth when Caleb McAlister singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Brennan Murphy was the winning pitcher for MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball. He lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs. Tyler Warner threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Warner recorded the last six outs to earn the save for MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball.

MVRHS Royals Varsity Baseball fell to Fall Mountain 2-1 on Monday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at one with Fall Mountain batting in the bottom of the tenth when an error scored one run for Fall Mountain.
